Which seems like something that needs to change. Whenever some douchebag decides it'll be funny to send good posts (or worse yet, massive numbers of posts) back to the queue, it ought to be easy for mods to block them

But those posts cannot be flagged again, and the mods (if it inconveniences them) can just hide it.

It only takes a few clicks to approve a post again, and there's 3 days to do it.

Plus, its really hard to flag huge numbers of posts.

I've already seen a lot of good post send to the flagged queue - I don't really think this is a good system. On busy days I've already seen good posts gettin overlooked by mods (because of lots of upload I guess), and now they got even more work to do because some users send good posts back to the queue. I don't know about that.

On the bright side, it gives us an opportunity to flag bad post from contributers, which I think control most of the uploads on that site nowadays. I have seen toon stuff uploaded and what not, with no consequences.

Maybe this system isn't that bad, but I guess it needs more work to prevent abuse.

Updated

- Added search to dmails.
- Added status to note search, so you can now search for deleted notes. Reversed the ordering also so that new notes are on top.
- Small changes to the pool/sample notices.
- I'm aware that the site has been crashing a lot lately. It's something with Apache and I'm still figuring it out.

How about "is displayed at" instead of "was shrunken to"?

I second this. I realize it's a silly thing to be concerned about but something about the word "shrunken" just doesn't seem proper.

(It doesn't help that I first saw the new notice on a picture of disembodied heads)

Woah, um... Could you undo the change to the pool notice? There really wasn't a need to condense it like that; I think I'd rather have it the old way. There's no "remove post" link anymore, but maybe you wanted it that way?

Also, could you add a public/private indicator to the notice while you're at it? kthxbye

Awesome, thanks!

Didn't the "remove post" link get hit accidentally quite a few times by people who didn't realize they were on the last image in the pool and went to hit where "Next" would have been? I know I stopped myself from doing that a few times before, so personally I rather enjoy not having to worry about that anymore. :P

Bug: post #493695 says it was shrunken to 100% of its original size.

One thing that would be nice would be a "first post" link for pools (didn't we use to have that?).

A link to the last post in the pool would be nice too.

These are both good ideas.

I'm getting that on post #495153 too.

As RaisingK said, it's not incorrect, and that's always happened with some image samples from what I've seen. It's compressed to a smaller file size but retains the same dimensions as the original.

It just means the text on the box is very unclear. If the file was reduced because the filesize was too large, it should say "was compressed to $fraction% of its filesize", and if it was the dimensions, it should say "was reduced to $fraction of its original dimensions".

At the very least, it should show the lower fraction of either the size or dimension reduction.

Four new metatags: generaltagcount, artisttagcount, copyrighttagcount, and charactertagcount. These work the same way as id search. The cheat sheet was updated.

artisttagcount:0 for example finds all posts with no artist tags. charactertagcount>5 finds posts with more than 5 character tags.

Ah, those new metatags could be quite useful.

One thing I noticed when browsing is the "Original image" link is gone. This makes it impossible to view deleted images, as well as viewing the full image on one that's been resized for a sample. In the latter case, I tried "View original" in the message at the top, but this did not work either.

Nice.
When you moved the image file size, you removed the original image link, which makes it hard to view deleted images, and made it impossible as far as I can tell to go from sample image to full size. (The "view original" link on the top doesn't work for me, and some people have the notification box permanently hidden anyway.) Was this intentional?
