Some artists are most definitely not deserving of any sensitive ratings, ex. Gensoukumuten, yokochou or hidefu_kitayan . I suggest that if possible users can provide artist for mass rating changes which will speed up the process of having to manually change the rating of tens of thousands of files.
Gold+ users can use tag scripting to quickly update tags. Alternatively, there's a feature on the beta version of Danbooru that might help.
Unfortunately it's not something that can be blindly automated. Even for safe artists there's stuff like post #804674 or post #553719 hidden in there that we must be careful about when changing ratings.

I get what you're saying but I don't see how the first one is unsafe, and the second one is not really unsafe or suggestive in any sense. You would have to be a bit weird to think that's suggestive.
It's an underage character in naked shirt. Do you think an american bank representative would buy the argument that it's innocent?
I hate pedophiles as much as the next guy, my point was that you have to be a pedophile to consider it suggestive because of the angle. But yeah it's and it should definitely be flagged as sensitive.
I get what you're saying though and never wanted it to be a fully automated process, just wanted to speed up the process, which can still be done by just flagging the few suggestive posts in these artists portfolio. I think most of us safebooru users don't want to have to comb through danbooru to find what we're looking for a specific post to manually changing ratings.
You also run into the question of what is safe, because i would say hidefu is safe but he has done close up breast shots, even if they never show much skin.

That is a common misconception. Most adults should be able to evaluate something from a standpoint they don’t share. The problem here is that some people seem to think that evaluating the risquéness of a picture of a child would somehow “make” them pedophile, which is complete nonsense. So no, you don’t have to be a pedophile to consider if a post should be rated general or sensitive.

… and that’s exactly why there are no mass rating changes.
I guess you could go through hidefu_kitayan -rating:g on non-safe Danbooru and check if anything should be rated g, but if you’re worried that rating an underage character in a naked shirt as sensitive would mean you’re a pedophile, you’d better not.
You're right about the pedophile stuff. It's just with the context of it being a gensoukumuten picture and all the disgusting crap that gets posted on here and used to be on safebooru, i lessened my judgement. I wasn't worried about being a pedophile, more just a question of what is sensitive.
You're right though we probably shouldn't have mass rating changes, I just wanted to be able to read some of these comics without having to use non-safebooru where I can accidentally click on any tag and get blasted with pornography.
I'm glad though that they changed the policy, because there was way too much softcore C- and normal porn on safebooru.
I just checked gensoukoumuten and hidefu -g and it seems there has been some quick work in changing the ratings as only his most risqué stuff is there. Guess there was no need after all for mass changes.

Put rating:e and rating:q on your blacklist and add the custom CSS from forum #132142 in your user settings.

I don't really want to look at anything S you see. And I would still be using danbooru where one misclick sends you straight to porn. And for the time being I'm mostly using my phone.
But the issue has been resolved anyway since a lot of the artists I mentioned at least have gotten corrected. So soon this hopefully won't be too big an issue.

Have you actually tried putting rating:e and rating:q on your blacklist and using the custom CSS to avoid blacklisted images flashing for a moment? With that, you won’t be shown any porn even when using Danbooru.
If you’re worried about sensitive posts too, you can put them on your blacklist as well and manually unhide sensitive posts if they’re part of a pool you’re reading, for example.
So this is happening to other people too? I just attributed it to a bot.
I noticed most of my uploads and favourites, which were all SFW mind you, all suddenly vanished because their rating was suddenly changed from "General" to "Sensitive". I thus had to revert all of them to the correct rating.
Edit: And now it's all being put back to sensitive. ugh.

Besides the two posts that were changed back to Sensitive, nothing was changed from General to Sensitive, everything was changed from Safe to Sensitive, with General being the new Safe. All General ratings need to be done manually, at least until the AI being worked on is finished.

It's a lowcut strapless dress with cleavage. In this case I'd probably turn a blind eye to it being rated G because it's a rough sketch and it's barely visible from the thumbnail. If it were a fully detailed drawing I'd rate it S. Compare it with aerith_gainsborough strapless_dress.
