If a banned artist want their stuff to be remove from danbooru...then why they are still here? They only get a red "artist requested the removal of this image" header and nothing more. There are pics that have had this header for literally YEARS and are still in danbooru.

Have you tried looking at the same post when logged out? Builders can see banned posts to garden tags and unban them, if necessary. Another reason why banned posts stay around is to prevent them from being uploaded again.

We don't usually expunge posts unless they contain underage people or things like animal abuse. You could ask an admin, but don't be surprised if you're turned down.

Books/manga that have been commercially published (ie not doujinshi) are forbidden because they're at very high risk of DMCA.
