Several fish such as catfish and oddly enough coelacanth are already implied to fish while many fish with hundreds of tags aren't.
I understand the sake of not implying animals for the sake of furry personas but I think cases of anthropomorphized fish are fewer.
I've mainly included fish with a traditional fish-like body shape and not manta_ray or eel since they're unusual, and may not be what people would generally look for when searching fish

I saw that BUR on the other forum post and I upvoted it. That makes more sense to me and I've edited this BUR accordingly.

There's an issue when it comes to edible fish like post #3346337, where you get crosstalk between fish the animal and fish_(food).

I agree it's an issue, but I don't find it particularly relevant to the BUR. Several fish are already implicated to fish, and the issue itself still exists even if existing implications to fish are removed and only generic unidentified fish can be tagged as fish.

I'm happy to help populate fish_(food) and depopulate food posts from the fish tag to help make the distinction clearer.
