Do derivatives like Hachune miku and Sakine Meiko who've more or less gained their own concept need implication? If yes, what about Yowane Haku and Akita Neru? They're technically Hatsune Miku's derivatives, but I don't think anyone would ask for implications.

When thinking whether an implication should be done or not I usually look how users are tagging it, for example, the proportion of users that consider it an implication (solo)/total number of users using the tag + solo: 103/118 for Hachune/Hatsune and 89/93 for Sakine/Meiko. At the end of the day, I think what matters is how most of the userbase see things, I could simply remove the Hachune implication from my list if enough people complain. I'm not into vocaloids that much, the main reason I asked for the implications was for racing, bottle and yuki miku, drawings about they are common enough for it, the rest of the list was just for completeness.
I think that would only be useful if someone could create wikis for the characters with accurate tagging guiding for every year and then populate the tags.

Seems to be this, nothing official, so you could clean it if you want, I don't think anyone will miss that tag.
I tried to look for it on pixiv, apparently all of the works except one were done by the same artist (バーニングミク, BurningMiku), which is the same mentioned by the facebook repost account. So it might be their original design, but I can't be sure since there aren't any further introduction from the artist. I also found these two from zero chan (1, 2) by another artist, which is no where to be found on the said pixiv page, and zero chan doesn't have links to the original source nor any date so it doesn't help much.

I'm not certain on it either, I have justifiable reasons for both sides, we could use more opinions. So do we have vocaloid people here? Didn't expect it to be such a small topic. Anyway, if vocaloid people's here please also have a look at topic #20867.
Just to make it clear, what I meant about accurate tagging guiding was about their outfits and physical traits. Context and origins about the characters aren't as important as the tagging guide and definitely shouldn't fill their wikis, if you're making the wikis make sure to put only the essential info about them along with the tags that should be used.

about this?
No, most users don't consider genderwaps to implicate the original character, at least when the genderswap is a character itself.
Could've sworn I saw a feature like this mentioned a while ago, but is there someway to automatically imply yuki_miku for all instances of yuki_miku_(* so that we wouldn't have to keep doing this every year? Same for Racing Miku as well.

Are you talking about the features where tags ending in _(cosplay) automatically gets tagged with the character tag and cosplay tag and tags ending in _school_uniform automatically gets tagged with the school uniform tag? Those are listed in help:autotags under "Wildcard Implications", I don't know how they would work with tags started with a certain phrase instead.
Meme/cosplay/school uniform are hardcoded in Danbooru's source code. It technically would be possible to do the same for any arbitrary tag, but unless it's very wide-spread there's not much reason to do it like that over just manually adding implications. A new school uniform, cosplay, or meme tag pops up weekly. It's not the same for yuki miku.
Jito Miku or Zito Miku (じとみく) is a Hatsune Miku design for Cospa's papercraft doll released in 2011 so it is not very well known by many. Despite this, I would like to make a char tag for her. "Jito-jito" means damp/humid.
