You shouldn't be using char: in the left side of a BUR. Create the tags first before requesting an implication.

I have a question, should we use the tag "official_alternate_costume" to tag seasonal CG(Skins) of the shipgirls? since they dont have a proper name like other franchises like FGO or AL.
If they're from an official source, then I think it would be the safest thing to do. That way, if such costumes wind up being given a name in the future, it'll make finding them a bit easier for populating the new chartag.

deprecate remodel_(kantai_collection)
Should this be done? I don't know if anyone's still attaching the tag to new uploads or if people have finally broken that habit, but I guess we could be sure?
Also the wiki page for remodel seems to have fallen victim to issue #4975 as I can't open it to check if this was already done.
You can check in the tags index whether a tag is deprecated (just click "edit"). But yes, this should be done. It appears people are still using it.

When we started migrating the remodel tags to their separate chartags, there were still a few users who either:
At that time, I also called for locking the tag from new entries in much the same way Wikipedia "salts" deleted articles to prevent their restoration. I didn't know that DB does have a similar system in place called "deprecating" until the BUR itself was sent.
And to be fair, it's done its job well in that we can fulfill our job of manually gardening the kai ni chartags without worry of being tagged remodel.
Ultimately, this thread would be relegated to a one-stop thread for aliasing all new kai ni chartags to the parent chartags.

create implication yamato_kai_ni_(kancolle) -> yamato_(kancolle)
create implication isonami_kai_ni_(kancolle) -> isonami_(kancolle)
create implication uranami_kai_ni_(kancolle) -> uranami_(kancolle)
Nothing unusual, just a request to make it so that the Yamato K2 tag implies the Yamato tag.

You might want to add those for Uranami and Isonami as well.
