memes are like parodies but repetitive, I mean, some of the *_(meme) tags say that they are parodies on their wiki page

A meme should be a format, if it's just referencing or parodying something (eg. post #5018083) then it probably shouldn't have the meme tag.

If it doesn't follow a template it shouldn't be autotagged meme. See post #4775716 or post #4917889.
