I understand that Pixiv and Twitter post are different from one another but why is this post #4988935 different from post #4988992? This is very similar to Naga U's Pixiv and Twitter posts.

You just got fucked by that unres who decided to upload the pixiv version after yours was up but before it got approved, instead of approving it themselves. People tend to not want to approve twitter images if a pixiv version is already up.

So people tend to approve this https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/96623301, instead of this https://twitter.com/Rafa_elaelaela/status/1498837808626081792?s=20&t=RweuKXTXFnc3_F6qigd9CQ?
Despite being the same artist?
The pixiv version has a larger file size, making it the superior version. Very common between pixiv and twitter a few years ago, much less so now after twitter updated its compression method. Approvers are generally discouraged from approving inferior copies if we already have a better version, though some don't follow this policy that well, and unrestricted uploaders can basically do whatever the hell they want, so like Talulah said, since both of those posts were uploaded at the same time, there was no reason to approve yours with a better version already existing. I.E. you got fucked.

Yep. Months ago I uploaded post #5106389 and post #5105925 during an issue with IQDB without scripts and double checking the artists' uploads and Pixiv pages. Accepting them is redundant when a better - usually Pixiv - version is already uploaded or is uploaded at the same time, in your case, as already pointed out above.
