How do I tag this?

Posted under Tags

So, in the game Lord of Heroes the player is able to choose between having a male or female protagonist.

In art, should we separate "Female Lord" from "Male Lord," or should it be the same? Their default names are both just "Lord" or "Monarch" (depending on the translation) and choosing doesn't really change much of the story. For the Genshin tags, Lumine and Aether are separated but they have actual canon names that LOH doesn't.

The Fire Emblem: Three Houses protagonist has a name, but it’s Byleth for both male and female versions:
byleth_(fire_emblem)_(female)
byleth_(fire_emblem)_(male)

Same goes for the Fire Emblem Fates protagonist Corrin:
corrin_(fire_emblem)_(female)
corrin_(fire_emblem)_(male)

Male and female versions are always implicated to their ungendered base names.

Following that scheme, the tags should be
lord_(lord_of_heroes)_(female)
lord_(lord_of_heroes)_(male)
Both implicating lord_(lord_of_heroes).

On the other hand, we have female_admiral_(kancolle), female_commander_(girls'_frontline) and female_commander_(azur_lane) without any male equivalents for those unnamed characters because their male versions are much more common.

If the male and female lords are both equally popular, the tags should be
female_lord_(lord_of_heroes)
male_lord_(lord_of_heroes)
Both implicating lord_(lord_of_heroes).

Edit: Removing FGO example because it doesn’t apply.

For it's current count, the lord_(lord_of_heroes) tag currently only has 18 posts, of which 8 of them depict the lord as female.

If we're thinking about the idea on making individual tags for each gender and implicating it to a ungendered base tag, it should be taken into consideration that vampdere currently accounts for 89%+ of the current 259 posts for the Lord of Heroes series. All of which were uploaded starting 2 days ago. Outside of their own dedicated effort, the remaining 28 posts were uploaded by 16 different users over the course of 612 days (about 1 image per 22 days). Unless vampdere themselves maintains this effort for the series, it's rather likely upload activity for the series would revert back to its previous levels.

I prefer the second style because “lord” is a title, not a name, so it fits better with commander and admiral.

I found this website containing some CG and production art of Masterwork Apocalypse, in the end of the topic, it links to a public folder where I downloaded this image and others. I can't find most of the images anywhere on the internet. Some are from Weibo, like post #5093171.

The website has a downscaled version of the image I downloaded and uploaded to Danbooru. My question is, how should I correctly tag the source?

Edit: post #5167387, I think I did it right.
