This is also why the two-tag search is annoying as we headbutt right into the problem of polysemy in collaborative tagging systems

+1 on this since the whole point of the tag was for it to be exclusively for real life cosplay photos (mostly to make it easier on blacklisters, since blacklisting cosplay and photo (medium) together cuts a decent amount of traditional media posts).

One thing I want to make clear: I consider cosplay photos to be off-topic. They're only allowed because they're posted rarely enough that I can turn a blind eye to them. Allowing this tag and implication to exist shouldn't be taken as an endorsement of uploading this content.

They generally don't pass the queue anyway, nor do most photos in general. The blacklister argument makes sense for the implication though.
