Over the last year, we've seen the re-emergence of Walfie in online popular culture once more, as a result of his incredibly popular VTuber fanart. As a result of that, I had been thinking - why are Walfas and create.swf separate tags again?
The only other topic on the forum that seems to bring up is this ancient one (topic #5268), from when of the three previously linked tags, only Walfas apparently existed as one. From the topic, both Walfie's artist tag and create.swf were created, but the reasoning for it doesn't necessarily hold up today now.
Walfas as a term, though ancient, is one that still exists in some Western Touhou circles. However, the need to distinguish between it and create.swf is silly, for one simple reason - Walfas drawn by Walfie are clearly tagged with his tag, and thusly any that isn't can be supposed to have been made with create.swf (whether it be as a Flash animation, or as images), unless it is drawn (in which case, using Walfie (style) would be perfectly fine, especially now given that back then style tags didn't exist).
All but two posts under create.swf weren't tagged Walfas, there is no need for create.swf to be its own tag anymore. Therefore, I'd like to propose it be aliased to Walfas (assuming there's people still searching for it), or otherwise tag gardened out of existence.
