Moving when_you_see_it tag to a pool

Posted under General

As some might have seen, I started moving when you see it from tag to a pool. I actually forgot to post about it here and I'm really sorry about that.

About 2 weeks ago it was discussed whether to leave the tag as it is or make it a pool. Since it seems rather subjective, decision was to make it a pool.
I considered making a BUR to mass update it, but looking at how many posts are mistagged, I decided to do it manually.

Updated

What? Where? Don't just randomly move a 2000 post tag without discussion.

And I don't agree that it's subjective. "There's something hidden in the background" isn't subjective at all. It's there or it's not. See my previous post on abstract concepts versus subject concepts.

Can't find anything pertinent on the forums or on post comments (other than the aforementioned ancient topic #6670). I assume the "referred to discussion" must be on Discord.

Anyway, this kind of decision (moving a highly populated tag into a pool) shouldn't be undertaken unilaterally.

To me, it is subjective whether or not something is hidden, there are no defined limits where you can say something is "hidden" or just a background element between many others. Plus there are some posts (example : post #4571323), where the hidden element isn't in the background.

This doesn't change anything to the fact that the decision of moving everything to a pool should have been discussed more but still I can understand why someone found that it's better off as a pool.

This shouldn't be in this pool/tag to begin with. It's just see-through.

Also evazion already said what is to do in this case and what not. Doesn't need at least two more users to repeat the same thing.
