Interesting how over the years most contentions around approvals have centred around qualitative arguments with the insistence from many approvers that special criteria should need to be met and yet all that really has to happen is for you to get lucky with the approvers that see your upload and decide if it's for them or not. The whole thing is kind of a mess from inception and it shows but whatever I just regret financially supporting the site is all.
Why were the two recent posts that I uploaded not approved ?

post #4446057: this one also suffers from some questionable anatomy. the brown-haired girl's legs are ridiculously long. just her thighs alone look equal in size to her entire upper body, which is not anatomically accurate.

at least for the first two i have no idea what could be wrong, the anatomy seems ... fine? and pretty typical of other work by this artist, like post #4074930, or post #4267268 and its siblings/children

I want to ask why suddenly my upload limit goes down to 16 (previously 17), even though I only have 2 deleted post. I have 29 approved post so that should make it 17 right.

Pretty technical question and I can't answer how it exactly works, but one deletion counts more than one approved image. The count for one new upload slot goes down by 5, I think, for every deleted image, while one approval only adds one point till a new slot. I don't know if the numbers are correct, but this is pretty much why you'll lose more slots with new deletions, while only getting new slots pretty slow.
Excuse me if I'm wrong but I don't think bad anatomy alone is a reason for deletion, considering it's a tag with 9k posts.

Whether or not a post with bad anatomy ends up deleted depends on how prominent the issues are on display and if there’s anything else that’s making up for it. For example, if it’s funny or cute or interesting in some other way, that can balance out minor anatomy issues. On the other hand, if all a post has is nudity fanservice and the body on display has bad anatomy, it gets an instant rejection from me.
Btw, include one or two post IDs if you want feedback on specific posts.

Personally the spine is fine for me, but the western artstyle is really putting me off.
