Alternate breast size and older

Posted under Tags

I noticed today a user mass-removing alternate breast size from older posts. The wiki for the tag does mention that the tag should not be used with older or younger, however this makes no sense to me. This seems like another of those technically correct cases that nobody would actually want when searching. Not all older posts have an alternate breast size, which means removing the latter from the first makes it so that there's no way to search for all of the alternate breast size posts at once.

I vote to remove those clauses, especially since I can't see anywhere in the forums where this was discussed before the addition in the wiki.

(I brought this to NNT's attention in Discord.)

I vote to remove the clause mentioning older/younger, which was added 2 years ago. There are currently ~855 older solo alternate_breast_size posts.

I'm guessing the rationale behind the wiki edit might've been something like "younger/older have generally smaller/larger breasts anyway; don't need the tag unless it went the opposite direction like oppai loli lost her breasts as an adult". However, an issue is when you're trying to search alternate_breast_size without regard for age change.

I think there should be some common sense when applying alternate breast size though. For example post #3826330. You're depicting a character who has the physical body of like a 4 year old (yes she's older, but her physical growth is stunted) and then comparing her to a physically adult version of herself. It's kind of silly to tag alternative breast size between an age group that would not have breasts and an age group that would.

It depends. I certainly would want to see that post when searching for alternate breast sizes. Same for others like post #3903324 or post #1521937

Perhaps exclude "mild growth" between flat chest, small breasts, and medium breasts. Mostly in regard to older posts.

post #3507483, post #1974360, or post #614041?

You're right that it sounds weird to compare those of single-digit age who are, and are expected to be, flat-chested. I would agree to exclude younger single-digit age group as the tag isn't very intended for this.

In case you're wondering, what prompted this topic was the removal of the tag from older Hoto_Cocoa posts.
