is an artist allowed to edit the artist page of themself?

hello i'm miyaco, identical with artist #85567 . if you think it's suspicious, i think i can show some evidence why i'm saying i'm artist #85567 .
anyway it's actually my honour that some of my arts have been exhibited here, thank you guys :)

so, when reading the artist page of myself, i found some links to a totally different person, not me.
i wanna delete the lines in order to avoid confusing people who reach the page, but am i allowed to do it?
i'm still new here and have only read a bit of rules and guides quite shallowly, so i'm very glad
even if you only point where the documents about it and/or editing the wiki by the artist themself in general.

also i wanna change the artist tag to just "miyaco" from "sakurahata_miyako" which is currently shown and used in posts and the wiki page,
just for ease and simplification. am i okay to change it by myself?
i've been using the name "miyaco" for a long time but changed the surname part several times by whim, so i reckon
the full name should be just added to the alternative name list but not used in the tag.

You can take a look at howto:artist if you haven't already, to understand what goes into an artist entry. Accurate URLs are a must, so feel free to remove the ones not linking to you, and add any other URLs which link to sources of your art.

Regarding your name, I would leave as-is in the entry due to "miyaco" being similar to a couple of other artists. We want unique artist tags to avoid that confusion, but if you really want to go about updating it, it's recommended to go through the process of submitting a Bulk Update Request in topic #7713. This ensures the tag is automatically updated on all applicable posts. You may also ask another user to do that for you if it'll be easier.

Yes, you're allowed to edit your own artist entry and remove links if they're wrong.

also thank you CNyte, i'm gonna check the page and update my artist page later :D
and you're right about the confusion on the artist tag, maybe i should rather change it to something like "miyaco_(zeppel)" if people find it confusing.
but for now, i'd keep it as evazion requested and the bot done because i'm not sure i should do that right now and changing it multiple times in such a short period feels like a spam.
