Upload Limit BS

What is this and why.

I've been here since 2008, and I've given 20 dollars to be a privilaged member. I've uploaded dozens of pictures, and have 27 live and 35 deleted.

And now I'm forbidden from uploading because I have more deleted posts than accepted.

Does this make any sense in the fact that I am being PUNISHED for being incapable of predicting which posts the moderators don't like and won't accept, and cannot even FIX this by uploading MORE posts that would be accepted?

I'm already angry that the acceptance of pictures is on less of a "quality" basis and more on a "cuz I feel like it" basis. And yet I press on and accept it.

I'm even angrier now.

This system of punishing people for having deleted posts is quite simply BULLSHIT. It's impossible to tell half the time when a post will be deleted for what ever reason, and I have NEVER uploaded a post I did not think would be accepted for what ever reason.

If you can't see what's wrong with your deleted posts, though, you do have issues. You might want to stay away from loli bestiality and the like in the future. The intent of this site is to collect good art, not simple porn. Try something cute and safe, like fluffy bunnies. Everybody likes fluffy bunnies. :)

The 20 bucks isn't for posting, its for viewing.

Even if you hadn't paid, you would be facing the same issue, the upgrade you paid for allowed you to see all the images on the site. That is it.

(also, I checked some of your deleted images, they are generally rule violations [Bestiality, photoshops] or just bad quality in general. And, like it or not, if one of the 30+ Janitors/Mods/Admins don't like your post, it won't get approved. Thats how things work here)

- Bestiality and photoshops are not rule violations. And the deleted pictures are in no way overly excessive or grotesque compared to pre-existing content on the site.

- "Bad quality" is highly subjective. You could find a "bad quality" post in my deleted history, then find a thousand more "bad quality" posts accepted and live on the site. There's even a "poorly_drawn" tag floating around.

Hmm...I could have sworn Bestiality was a violation, regardless, its not looked well upon here, in general, so they are unlikely to get approved (especially those). Photoshops similarly have never been looked well upon, and now are by and large violations

As for "bad quality", pointing at stuff that is already here is meaningless, and, ultimately, if one of the 30 of us doesn't like the image, its not going on the site.

The site is not a democracy, and it is not an archive for any random image you happen to like fapping to.

Over half your total posted images have been deleted. That is a clue for you to stop uploading.

Another point to add. The terms of service did not and still do not refer that the 20 dollars for the privilaged account are for viewing ONLY.

"Privileged $20
(one time) You no longer see ads or 503 pages, and you can search up to six tags at once. You can upload unlimited posts and post unlimited comments, but your posts are still subject to moderation. You can subscribe to tags. You can see hidden tags."

It is right there on the help page. You are under the agreement as a privilage user that you can upload unlimited posts.

Things change, sadly, you are part of the reason they changed.

The point is that YOU thought they were decent, however 30 other people didn't.

There was no pattern for most of them. Also added to the fact that said pattern is impossible to follow when most of the pictures deleted were uploaded mere seconds from each other.

This rule was made so that people like you CANNOT POST. DONT YOU GET IT?

The new uploading rule is supposed to kill off the people who post trash. I don't see any problem with people NOT being able to post on danbooru if they have a bad track record.

Make a new account if its so bad, start a new life.

EDIT: What he means by the pattern is to lurk more and see what qualifies as an acceptable upload to the site and not to you. Control is the key here.

YOUR QUALITY STANDARDS. THEY ARE LOW.
