Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

The possibility that anyone is looking at all those 10 images to answer you is very low. Try to only post up to 5 images at once.

Is this type of variation in resolution/cropping not acceptable? The guidelines outlined in the post relationships wiki led me to believe otherwise.

There is no problem with the cropping itself. But we try to only approve the best version of an image at the same time. I don't see any big difference with the crop and the parent of that image. It's better to post a crop before the better version is uploaded and hope it gets approved or to only post the best version of an image.
But you can post a crop, if it´s different to the parent, for example another expression or clothing.

Got it, thanks for the clarification!

People have been asking for a thread where feedback on uploads could be obtained. So here it is. I have some reservations about how acrimonious this thread is likely to get, and if it turns into nothing more than a flame-fest, I will lock it.

Rules for those requesting feedback:
#1 - You are not guaranteed feedback. It is entirely voluntary to give it.
#2 - Danbooru may simply not be an appropriate place for your favorite art. If so, accept this and move on.
#3 - Try not to be too thin-skinned,and don't take things personally.

Rules for those giving feedback:
#1 - Give constructive feedback only.
#2 - Refrain from name-calling. Asking people to be thick-skinned doesn't mean you're allowed to be insulting.

I assume that my post was deleted because I forgot to add the animated_gif tag, so the gif wouldn't load on viewing, it is now fixed. I don't think the post is low quality, as the artist already has over 200 posts on danbooru, and my post is just the uncensored version of a previous, approved post. Please consider re-appealing: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/4271454

Earlier, I posted a higher quality version of an already approved post, It got deleted because (I assume) I parented the higher quality version to the older one. Please reconsider appealing https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/4256936

Tbh I don't think that the majority of approvers like animations and even less when those are sexual. The one image that was "approved" was uploaded by an unrestricted user, so it didn't go through the queue. Best is to not post rating:e stuff until you're unrestricted, not everyone likes sexual stuff enough to approve it.

It's just really poor. Compare it to other stuff on this site, so I don't have to say anything about it.

Could I get some feedback as to why this post was not approved? It's of the same quality as some of the other works of the artist recently uploaded (Mugenjin), in my opinion at least.

I'm not exactly sure. The shoulders are a bit small and I think the part between the collarbone and neck is too large. I don't think it's really bad, but has some mediocre vibes.

I would like to know why this post was removed, it had already been approved. Just because a user who remained anonymous did not like what he saw was eliminated? why is that allowed in the first place if it had already been approved. It is obvious that some people do not like certain illustrations but that a user who is left anonymous also has such power seems laughable to me.

You uploaded pantyhose while a certain approver was on, that's why it was approved.
As for the picture: the face looks poorly drawn, the torso looks disconnected from the lower body (looks like it's growing from the front of her right thigh), thus bad anatomy, and the proportions just look off in general.

The background looks nice, though.

Of course, it is easy to say, it is not that it is the worst that has been uploaded to the platform, you can see the effort of the artist. Otherwise, even if he was opportunistic, he would not have been approved. But in the end, here you play more at being executioners than anything else.

Bad art is bad art, no matter how much time an artist pours into a piece if they lack the necessary skill to meet our quality criteria. While you think it's good, 11 approvers whose task it is to determine whether art is good or not, plus my opinion and the opinion of the person who flagged it, decided otherwise. You're welcome to appeal it if you are adamant that our opinions are wrong. The purpose of approvers is to uphold quality standards, which includes, as you put it, "executing" bad art (deleting it from the active gallery).
