Official English names for the Main Protags of Genshin Impact

Correct me if I'm wrong but as I understand it whichever of the two you pick to play will never have their official name used in game, and will invariably be referred to either as the name you pick (whcih doesn't have a default) or as "traveler". For people looking for art for the character they play it may be awkward to have to search for a name which has literally never appeared in the game as they've played it.

At the very least there should be an alias rather than a rename. Although it may be better to make the alias be from traveler (male) and traveler (female) rather than male traveler and female traveler, in which case doing this rename as a first step would be fine.

The above is not an issue exclusive to this copyright. I know in Pokemon you'd never know the names of the protagonists from Pokemon Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield if you hadn't consumed any media outside of the game. There's usually an alias for "female_protagonist_(pokemon_*)" to help you find them if you're dead-set against using Google, though. An alias in this instance seems reasonable as well.

Actually, I kinda based it on how the granblue fantasy's protags were tagged(lol): Gran for male and Djeeta for the female respectively... They're also referred to as "captain" in-game.

But if it'd be more helpful for future searches then yea I don't mind if it's an alias instead. Should've added that on the reasons I guess.

The names for the MC "Aether" and "Lumine" seems would be appear in other media than the game. I still tracking some medias where said name is mentioned. Would investigate further again because I believe the MC is not just a silent protagonist like another game because they can talk
