How to unfavorite inaccessible images?

Posted under General

If you know the post IDs, you should be able to use curl and the API:

curl -u DSE:APIKEY -X DELETE https://danbooru.donmai.us/favorites/POSTID

(Replace APIKEY with the API key from your user profile and POSTID with the ID of the post you want to unfavorite.

A bit off-topic but should those really be tagged as loli? The last 2 have both loli and petite tags and the last was even changed from loli to petite in the past.

Another user added the loli tag, and he also did it to several others that are definitely not loli like post #3715918, post #3752172 and post #3755417, and many got reverted.
@xiriox please don't add loli to anything that looks petite, that's not how we use the tag.

Thanks! How can I find them like that in case it happens again though?

Unfortunately I'm not sure you can by yourself if you don't know the post IDs.

@nonamethanks I haven't strayed from the wiki.

The light-blue haired subject in post #3755417 fits this description for loli: the subject looks prepubescent and the image is sexually explicit in nature hence the tag.
Similarly, the subject in post #3715918 also appears prepubescent in body, not small and slender as would be the case in petite. One could argue perceived breast development and pull this out of loli but it wouldn't fit petite, see below:

The petite tag says "For actual underage female characters use child or loli" which contradict the loli tag which says use this for subjects "who appear to be preadolescent (roughly between the age of 3 to 12). The character's canonical age doesn't matter." To highlight: actual underage vs. perceived prepubescence and canonical age doesnt matter.
Furthermore the loli tag guides that "Work-safe, non-sexual artwork of young girls" should be tagged as child or petite. Both pieces are objectively NSFW so neither should then be tagged using child or petite.

It is apparent this judgment is ill-fitting considering the current wiki criteria and one might consider that folks are inaccurately using the petite tag to access loli material and circumvent the restrictions placed by membership grade.

Reconsider the categorizing and criteria for petite and loli tags and I'll be happy to conform based on the letter. Thank you

@DSE If you can filter out which posts meet the criteria for not being visible, you can use the 'Random' (R) feature to visit posts you normally wouldn't be able to visit. The image won't be visible but you'll have access to the post number. Usually this just means stuff like: loli, shota, paid reward, banned artist, etc.

There's a difference between saying "Work-safe, non-sexual artwork of young girls" and "Only work-safe, non-sexual artwork of young girls" though, in this case it's the former, petite can very much be used on questionable and explicit images.

So you're basically saying that because the loli wiki says worksafe images should be tagged petite, you're just going to keep tagging NSFW images as loli if they look petite, no matter how many times people disagree and remove the tag later? And because petite lists canon age as a criteria while loli doesn't, I guess. Did I get that right, or am I misinterpreting you?

I see, will give that a try whenever it happens again thanks!
