alias hairband_bow -> bow_hairband and implications

Posted under Tags

BUR #3045 has been approved by @evazion.

create alias hairband_bow -> bow_hairband
create implication bow_hairband -> hairband

Visibility. This tag isn't being used, but I believe it is significant and warrants its own tag.

Example characters that wear hairband bow (ribbon): Tsukioka Kogane, Haruka (Pokemon), Konpaku Youmu.

Edited hairband_bow wiki to include ribbons.

[redacted stuff (BUR used to have implication to hair_bow)]

EDIT: The bulk update request #3045 (forum #169536) has been approved by @evazion.

Admittedly I'm unclear how reversing the tag's name makes it more visible and more likely to be used. Wouldn't it work to just add the tag where it's missing so it's more likely to be noticed by users?

Note: a search with an optional tag will only work if there are at least two optional tags. If there is only one then it will be considered a normal tag.

True, should start actually tagging the posts.

Note:

Oh...

Also, for new uploads these implications will cut down two tags needed to be manually entered when a bow hairband occurs.

I've edited the BUR to remove the implication to bow because hair bow already implies it, so there's no need for this tag to have the double implication.

Now, as for the tag itself, the wiki says it can be used for both bows and ribbons, but looking at hairband hair_ribbon most results are for youmu-style hair bows (post #3971664). I've always tagged these as bows, are they really ribbons?

The ones I'd have in mind are like post #3994824, but they look nothing like the classic hairband bow that almost looks like bunny ears, I don't think they should all be lumped under hairband_bow (especially if the tag name has "bow" in it).

-1 None of the characters mentioned in the OP had anything resembling a bow on their head or "hairband" in any form as I would call it. A bow must always include a bow knot and usually includes a solid hourglass shape (post #3999160), it sometimes also has two tails (post #4000097), and sometimes the knot is loose enough such that the bow droops (post #4000798).

The hair ornaments for all of the named characters from the OP are all just hair ribbons. We can give them some other type of name if the feeling is that it's warranted, like knotted_ribbon or something else. That's something that I would support.
