Deciding what to do with the /* tags

As far as i know, /* tags used to be used like aliases, before aliases were a thing. Since they're now outdated, should they be unaliased/deleted?

The plan is to eventually have them auto-generated by the autocomplete. There's no reason to get rid of them for now, especially since some of the older users might be used to them, and there's no real performance impact in having them.

Typing out /tr is still far easier when tagging up an image than typing out translati and then tabbing or typing tr and then using the mouse to select the right tag.

Why don't we just outright nuke it since shortcut aliases are no longer accepted?
