What if someone uploads the original artist works -such as- the artist has done the filter themselves? So it was meant to be nude in one pic and clothed in another?

post #228632 is the same way. post #412357 might be as well for all I know, since there's no parent.post #32963 and post #33449 are censored game cg and not nude filters at all. But the latter is a duplicate and neither is of high quality, so they can stay deleted. But the point is that pictures were mistagged and mistakenly deleted by the blanket purge.
post #166083 ... yeah, that's still a nude filter (removing the top), but at least they cleaned up the parent scan and removed the text. Not that that probably amounts to anything here.
And that's from looking through the results for nude_filter game_cg status:deleted.
I removed the nude_filter tags and undeleted the first 4. If anyone wants the 2nd two to be flagged for quality/duplicate status anyone is free to do so, I was just undoing the nude_filter purge of them.

Well it's unlikely an artist would use a photoshop nude filter rather than just make it uncensored to begin with (then censor it as needed), but if it's by the artist then it's original, and fine. I also wouldn't tag it nude_filter or photoshop, personally.

Then it's obviously not a nude filter but a set. Which tend to be annoying themselves (particularly coming from artists who produce 8 versions of every pic they make), but for entirely different reasons.

So people have to state > "this is another version from the artist?" or just upload it and parent it?
Generally speaking, it's easy enough to tell simply by including the source URL to the images on the artist's pixiv/homepage/etc. But if you don't have that and it's not completely obvious that the alt version is by the original artist, then yes parenting to the base image (which should be done anyway) and leaving a comment isn't a terrible idea.
Because sometimes photoshops are done for more interesting and good reasons than "I wanna see them naked!", I suppose.
By the way, the ToS now defines nude_filter to include decensors. Is that intentional? I thought nude_filter only applied to images in which clothing was artificially removed, rather than a censorship mark or scrambling.
Depends on the original censoring method.
HCGs tend to have huge censor blocks, so the fan-decensoring of them tends to not work out well (but some HCGs can be obtained in their original uncensored form...), but fan work censoring ranges from standard pixelation, to a type of censoring that is actually non-destructive, which can be removed with the application of the proper program.
Can I request the undeletion of post #332714? It's a nude filter and a terrible one at that, but that has nothing to do with what makes the image great.

Hilarious! Undeleted.

Because nude_filter is the specific subject of this thread. Other issues that aren't about nude_filters should go in threads that aren't specifically dedicated to nude_filters.
This thread has fulfilled its purpose, so I would like to request that further deletion appeal requests go in the deletion appeal thread.

Would there be any way to implement an error message to warn users when they try to upload with a banned tag?
Even when that sounds like a good idea... I also think it would be very easy to avoid (by not adding banned tags when uploading) and then it becomes a not so good idea.
What about something like getting automaticaly flagged for deletion when a banned tag it's added later?
I don't know, maybe there's another option.
