I noticed this function has changed? Before, it only showed what tags other users had added/deleted, but now it also shows my edits? It's useful to see what others have done, but I don't really need to see my own edits.

The old report required getting every single version, which was a huge potential resource drain and it was hackish, plus it required having its own set of code that needed to be maintained. Now all of the various versions have been consolidated to have the same functionality and a similar set of code, which will be eventually factored out so that other items such as comments or forum posts can easily have their own versions added.
As far as the old post tags report goes, most of the old functionality is still there, and there are already several improvements which are being submitted with issue #4369.
