Fit images to window doesn't seem to work

How do I get the 'Fit images to window' setting to work? I've enabled it but it doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to enable something else as well? Images aren't fitting to window.
I'm on Chrome PC

Look under the Basic settings and make sure the Default image width is set to "original".

I tried this but it still doesn't make the image fit to window.

Oh wait... it fits to window landscape not portrait. I'm dumb.

to fit images vertically, a simple script like this might work for you:
