Hmm, the English does appear on this official Japanese site, although the URL uses taiho. http://www.tbs.co.jp/taiho/top-j.html
And the main site is actually the English one... that's weird.
I'm not familiar enough with the franchise to say anything with confidence.
Both titles are used pretty interchangeably; not surprisingly, "You're Under Arrest" is more commonly seen in English material and 「逮捕しちゃうぞ」 in Japanese.
AFAIK, the earliest manga volumes had only the Japanese title. The English was added later and popularized by the patrol car bonnet logo (eg: 1st season op @0:10) which was used in the manga, anime and PS game.
Some of the more recent releases in the franchise have dropped the English: 2001 2nd season op @0:25, 2007-08 3rd season op @0:25, 2002 live action dorama. However, the 2004 kodansha manga bunko edition still had both titles (not the bonnet logo, though).
Besides http://www.tbs.co.jp/taiho/top-j.html the romanized title is also seen in official site urls http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/taiho/ and http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/shichauzo/, all of which use 「逮捕しちゃうぞ」 sans English in the html page title.
I'm comfortable with alias going either way; the official material suggests a bias toward you're_under_arrest -> taiho_shichauzo.

You forgot:
suzumiya_haruhi_no_yuuutsu -> the_melancholy_of_haruhi_suzumiya
mahou_shoujo_lyrical_nanoha -> magical_girl_lyrical_nanoha
higurashi_no_naku_koro_ni -> when_they_cry
maria-sama_ga_miteru -> maria_watches_over_us
mahou_sensei_negima -> magical_teacher_negima!
zero_no_tsukaima -> the_familiar_of_zero
hayate_no_gotoku -> hayate_the_combat_butler
card_captor_sakura -> cardcaptors
etc. etc.
On the other hand, we have:
neon_genesis_evangelion not shin_seiki_evangelion
ghost_in_the_shell not kokaku_kidotai
spice_and_wolf not ookami_to_koushinryou
jojo's_bizarre_adventure not jojo_no_kimyou_na_bouken
full_metal_alchemist not hagane_no_renkinjutsushi
martian_successor_nadesico not kidou_senkan_nadeshiko
revolutionary_girl_utena not shoujo_kakumei_utena
etc. etc.

Well, even that's still known as Card Captor Sakura in R1, it's just a matter of distinguishing between the chopped up edited release and the uncut release (the latter being called Card Captor Sakura right on my DVDs).
At any rate as Evazion illustrates, the choice of language for title on Danbooru leans towards Japanese but it's not a completely ironclad rule. And doesn't need to be, really.
So I think the more relevant question is, look specifically at this YUA situation (*not every request needs to start a tagging revolution*) and ask if there's something special enough about this to warrant going against the E -> J alias tendency? That is, to make an exception.
I'm interested in seeing what people think. Right now, I'm leaning towards what r0d3n7z said and just going with the Japanese.

It's actually "Cardcaptor Sakura", two words not three, officially in both Japan and the R1 uncut release.

Okay, yes, I wasn't really paying attention to the spacing but you're right of course. my main point is that either way it's not cardcaptors. Wait, no, my main point was about YUA. But yeah. Heh.
I've suggested that we lean towards tagging the series in a way that is going to be recognizable to the most people, as long as the English version is a reasonable translation (ie: not a complete name change, if thats the case, keep it in Japanese).
I'm 99% certain that more people know what "You're Under Arrest" is than "Taiho Shichauzo"
The problem with that criterion is that it's time-dependent. If you've played the game or watched the fansubs, you'll think it should obviously be called "Higurashi no naku koro ni"; but give it a little time after the official release, and there will be lots of people who'll swear it should be called "When they cry", because that's what it says on their DVDs. Why, I've even seen someone suggest that we replace mai_otome with my~zhime!
Always using the original title ensures that we won't have to change tags after each batch of licenses (or waste time convincing people that we shouldn't change them).
