create alias gigi_d.g. -> peachifruit

Reason: It's the same artist, just different urls

EDIT: The bulk update request #1976 (forum #155539) has been rejected by @Hillside_Moose.

It should be the reverse it anything. gigi d.g. is her more prominent persona and pen name. This would also require reworking the current hiimdaisy -> peachifruit alias.

Also, you don't need to create a new forum topic for this. Just add artist alias requests to topic #7713.

I thought the rule was to use the older tag; is that not the case?

I've never heard of any rule like that. The way I know it is, we use the artist's real name if it is known, because that's more reliable than an online handle that they could change at any time. If the real name isn't known, we go with the more prominent/current handle.

For example, the artist formerly tagged as aconitea was recently updated to revolmxd, her current handle that she's switched to on most of her platforms.

I don't think Gigi even uses peachifruit as a handle anymore for her current works. I follow her on several platforms (twitter, her art blog, etc) and she always uses some variation of Gigi D.G./Gigi Deegee as her username. The Cucumber Quest books and her latest artbook are all also definitely published under this name, so I would consider this the better tag to use if you want fans to be able to search for her on other websites.

She stopped using the Peachifruit handle when she decided to go pro instead of being just a fanartist. This was back when people were asking her if she was going to resume the Persona 4 comic, which she said no.
