Again, you don't see the point but that is not our problem.

The forums have been extremely useful for a long time now and have helped solve many a problem. Paying any attention whatsoever should have shown you this.

And a wiki is in no way the same thing, does not serve the same purposes. You don't use a wiki like danbooru's to *discuss* something, you use it to record the decisions made.

But you have to GET TO those decisions somehow. Emailing a mod is not the way, because these issues are not merely between two people, they affect the site as a whole.

You know what, you've got a point. I guess if a bug's been posted already, other users dont have to post the same bug constantly.

However, I never said to use the wiki in danbooru to 'discuss' something. That should be done in forums. I am more than interested in other users tastes and such, not by knowing their favourites and comments, but by talking to them directly, whether chat or forums. If however, that sin't implemented or not allowed, I myself se no point in visiting the forums. Like some of the previous users said, either make separate sections in the forums, or disable posting site unrelated stuff, which if the latter happens, I doubt I'd be coming here very often. I admit haven't been posting (or contributing) much, but if there is an interesting discussion, I'd be sure to jump in.

So if albert or whoever closes down the forums just for that specific cause, well, I don't see any point in being here.

I'm saying that if they're going to delete topics other than issues and bug, they might as well delete the forum. However, like jxh said, forums would be useful for bugs, but I think that rather than deleting those topics altogether it's better to incorporate sections or something.

And why can't I discuss anime here? This site is clearly for anime, and there is a forum to boot. Sure there is lots of other sites, but I find it disappointing that an anime imageboard doesn't want to discuss anime in itself.

This isn't 4chan, or 'suki, or whatever.

Different kind of site, with a different purpose.

Unfortunately, you're right. I shouldn't even bother to get to know you guys. Sorry for all the bothering, I'll probably never come here again.

I don't understand, the forum was always fine before with danbooru related posts. He acts like we've never posted on it before.
