Would it be feasible for there to be some kind of notification system if an image you favorite becomes translated? Or if such a system already exists how to do it? I see a lot of favorites of untranslated images and I assume (like what I do) it is to mark an image to look over when translated. However I was wondering if some people pass over translating old images since it seems unlikely anyone will ever see the translation.

It seems the script at topic #14747 would satisfy what you want here. There are some other scripts at about:userscripts that don't address this but you may find useful.
