In response to your appeal on that post: the style does look too western, IMO, even if it is anime-influenced.
Personally, I also don’t like that style of shading… which also seems to completely disregard the light source behind her.

So why is it that Western art is forbidden here?
And on another note, how about this one?
I'd like to get some feedback on why these posts were deleted, I can understand that the anatomy and proportions on the 2nd one are pretty off but I felt like the quality was enough.
I'm also pretty confused on the quality control. It seems like it fluctuates very heavily. I don't really understand how decent posts get deleted but posts like post #3291672 get approved. Hopefully this doesn't come off as rude, I'm just trying to understand the situation.

Danbooru [dahn-boh-ruh] (noun):
1. (on donmai.us) A repository of high-quality anime-style art and doujinshi.
If that doesn’t speak for itself, let’s clarify:
1. Anime-style art of an anime-style copyright: okay.
2. Anime-style art of a non-anime-style (western) copyright: usually okay.
3. Non-anime-style (western) art of an anime-style copyright: scrutinized more harshly, but often okay.
4. Non-anime-style (western) art of a non-anime-style (western) copyright: not okay for most approvers.
Bringing western art to an anime-style image gallery is like bringing coffee to a British tea party and expecting everyone else to like it. Maybe it would be better to visit a coffee shop instead.
And on another note, how about this one?

Western copyright and the art style is somewhere in-between. I wouldn’t approve it, but I guess someone else might on a good day.

Read about:mod queue if you haven’t done so yet. That should explain everything. Basically, if nobody liked an image, it goes deleted. If it was to at least a single person’s liking, it’ll be approved. For better or worse, that’s just how we roll. If someone disagrees with something, that’s what appeals and flags are for.

That's fair. Sometimes it does feel like there's a lack of connection though. Some flags and appeals don't seem to ever get resolved but I can understand there's only so much a few people can do.
Kinda wish there was more consistency -- I remember posting a judith beheading holofernes parody and being told it was too western, but then under the fine-art parody tag, i'd see similar pictures in the same style.
Also how some artists get some of their stuff approved and the other deleted even when works are stylistically and thematically related -- like with post #2837819 and post #2852904 (and it looks like a mod had approved and then a different mod deleted it)
C'est la vie~
In any case,
curious about the following posts and what could be wrong with them

Why post #3312935 uploaded from original source is deleted and the child post from not original source is approved?
Why the post #3312714 wasn't approved since few minutes before the upload i've uploaded the post #3312708 from the same artist, in same style and it was approved?

The first one is a lot darker, doesn't have any cleavage, contains a less popular (by tag count) character, etc. You may say that both images are in the same style, but even a cursory glance reveals that they have a lot of differences. The simple truth is that at least one person liked the second images, but out of eleven people, none liked the first (enough to approve it).

Even if it's the same "style", the anatomy/posing of the girl in post #3312714 is kind of strange. It's like her legs curve upwards mid-thigh, and her left arm is kind of a wet noodle, too.
post #3312708, meanwhile, has a character more fully in view with more detail and better shading, and without those posing/anatomy irregularities.
Artists don't necessarily put out consistent quality. Sometimes some works from an artist will fail while the rest will pass, especially if there's some quickly drawn sketches in a mix with more detailed pieces. You can't just assume everything from an artist that has been approved in the past will automatically be approved, and check the individual merit of each.
I uploaded this image. It was not accepted after 3 days.
This is a Bleach image featuring 4 girls on the beach, some of them wearing swimsuits: Tier Harribel and her 3 underlings -- Mila Rose, Sung-Sun and Apacci.
Rating: safe.
Resolution: 1032x829
It's an anime-style art of an anime-style Japanese copyright.
In my opinion, this image does fit Danbooru standards of quality. I believe the shading, details, etc. look nice.
The characters are drawn accurately. It could probably pass for official art. Compare post #31502 and post #284072, which are actual official art Bleach posts where the characters are on the beach.
Is there any problem I'm not seeing yet? Please give some feedback if possible. I'm OK with learning if there's something to avoid here.
PS: I got the image from a deleted DeviantArt account using Web Archive. The correct Web Archive link is in the source field.

These have the same quality as those that were approved. Reason for deletion?

One of the blonde girl's thighs is twice the length of the other.
Bad hands on the girl with the curly hair.
The girl with the horn's upper body seems much further forward than her lower body based on its relation to the stuff around it.

I think I see why post #3327678 was unapproved: proportions, limb sizes & such…but I'd like to confirm if that's the case anyway (and thank you in advance).
Meanwhile, for post #3327717 though…? (explicit)

they are all from the same artist and shares the same base (and artist's facebook gallery) of post #2956735. So why both the three (Marisa, Rumia and Daiyousei) got deleted even Reimu being approved?
post #3337797 Got Denied the first time, because i linked the source to the artist's homepage rather than a link to the art itself, so i placed the correct link and submitted for approval and got denied by 11 moderators that didn't express their rejection on the first approval pending process.
What's wrong with these two?
