Posting comments to pics being anonymous

I tried to post a comment to a picture here and I got a "Access Denied" message. I don't think that right to do that. People here have the right to come to this site and to post comments using anonymous.

Please make that possible

uh-huh... so you had the time to come here, log on, post on the forum to complain about not being able to post a comment while not logged on, but didn't have the time to simply just come here, log on, and post your comment on the image?

If your comment is something you wouldn't post while you're logged in, then you probably shouldn't be posting your comment.

People most certainly do not have any sort of "right" to do that on a private website.

You must be very confused... Access to any website is a privilege provided to you by the site's owner, not a right. As such, making postings of any sort on any website is also a privilege, not a right.

This guy is obviously new to the internet.

Have the right to post as anonymous, lulz.

I don't see the problem with making an account, if you need to say something that badly become a registered user. The only way I can see someone wanting to post as anonymous is because either...

1. They're embarassed.

or

2. They want to say something that could get them in trouble or disliked.

If you're embarrassed about your comment you probably need to mature a little or consider whether or not it should be posted.

Bottom line: you don't have a right to post anonymously, or any kind of rights at all.
Anonymous commenting increases the number of dumb comments, which is too high in any case.
