I'm surprised this implication doesn't exist yet considering straight is literally synonymous with hetero.

I've been wondering what this tag covers that a shota hetero search won't, asides from a few false positives. We don't have a straight loli tag after all.
I'd personally be for a mass update (straight_shota -> shota hetero) rather than an implication, because it seems like this tag is just a short form of a shota hetero search.

That's more to do with the reason straight shota appeared as a tag.
In the olden days, artists would most of the time draw shotas in yaoi relationships, the hetero ones were the outliers.
Not sure who, but they made a separate definition for images depicting straight shotas. There's even a ton of different tags on pixiv for it.
On the other hand straight-loli was the norm. And loli-yuri covered the others.

I'm all up for that. The straight_shota tag seems like a relic of the past. It makes sense for hentai sites to have that tag but not Danbooru in this day and age, specially considering that most people take it to mean "shota with older woman".

It seems everyone there agreed that straight_shota is a redundant tag now, and the only argument against it is that there are pictures that include a shota who doesn't participate in the sex acts (but those sex acts are hetero too so it really shouldn't make a difference).
I'm okay with a mass edit to shota hetero.

Remember to replace it with futa_with_male if necessary.

Seems someone else already removed a few of the futa posts from it, since there were few than I remember when I first replied to this thread. I removed the rest and tagged them with the adequate futa_with_male/newhalf_with_male tags, and I also went through some combinations (straight_shota -1girl -multiple_girls, straight_shota yaoi, and similar) and removed any wrongly tagged posts to make sure we didn't miss anything.

Ah, that was me actually, I left a few because they fell under the grey area of male/female/futa threesome.
And I guess a mass update works too +1.
