Saber Venus doesn't seem to go by any aliases but is a Nero still.

I would prefer nero_claudius_(bride)_(fate) or nero_claudius_(saber_bride)_(fate) or nero_bride. The FGO profile uses ネロ・クラウディウス〔ブライド〕 as the True Name.
Type-MOON Wiki also claims ネロ・ブライド is an official term, but I'll have to check archives of Nasu's blog later. The link in TM Wiki goes to the wrong entry of Nasu's blog, and the website doesn't let me see entries previous to August 2017 (the entry they are citing is from 2016).

Is an alias for a cosplay tag really necessary? I would prefer a mass update.

I'm not sure about this one. Saber Venus is currently not a separate character. While the Swimsuit and holiday variants are summoned separately, and some even mention their summoning, Saber Venus is actually Nero changing form through Heroic Spirit Apotheosis, a process some Servants in Extella can go through. It's just the same being in a separate form, unlike Swimsuit and holiday Servants who are just different clones of the legendary character (because, remember, according to Fate lore, all Servants are clones except Artoria in FSN).

Sure, they might eventually make her summonable, which would canonize her as a separate character, but for now, FGO has only used Saber Venus as a statue in Swimsuit Nero's Noble Phantasm. Though making her summonable might come with calls for making the other Heroic Spirit Apotheosis forms separate characters in the game as well, unless they actually implement Apotheosis in the game.
(Also, why do I get the feeling that a FGO Saber Venus would arrive together with Galactica Saber?)

I agree with separating Venus and implicating it to the catchall for consistency. I think the tagging should be practical rather than diving into technicalities of whether certain tags are different characters or not. (And I mean, technically, wouldn't nero_claudius_(fate) be for any image of Nero that isn't visually one of the tagged variants, not solely the one instance of the character from the events of Extra onward?)
