According to its wiki, it's knees_together_feet_apart standing, in which case it doesn't need to be a tag IMO. In actual usage it appears to be used for both knees_together_feet_apart (whether standing or not) and legs_together, and a couple where it's hard to tell or neither quite fit (such as post #2745815, knees and toes together but heels apart).
What do we do with this tag? If we're going to keep it, the wiki needs changing and maybe some other tags should imply it.
Knees touching, based on that description, seems utterly redundant. I'm all for removing it, especially since it isn't even used consistently.
Knees together is similarly problematic.
Flaming sword
I though this would be a rather self explanatory tag but there are quite a few examples of swords that are merely surrounded by fire (post #2271657) swords that glow but arent flaming (post #2056939) and even a few quasi light sabres (post #1348402). If any one could write a wiki that specify what a flaming sword is that would be most helpful.
Is that the same thing, or is there a visual difference between armor that's made out of gold vs. metal plating that's colored yellow?

post #1179567 looks like it might be some kind of plastic armour. Other than that gold armor fits all yellow shiny metal armour.
Widescreen is undefined and consists almost entirely of ratio:16:9 and ratio:16:10 images. Is this tag even necessary, given that metatags exist to accomplish the same results?

It seems that the usage has declined over the years, too.

Not familiar with the series but these spoilers appear to be entirely unnecessary. Removed them from re:creators and from a couple character wikis.
Should open-back dress and backless outfit be mutually exclusive? Or is the first a subset of the second?

Plump indicates fat whereas curvy does not. Also curvy indicates having the right curves, whereas plump does not. That post you indicated was more plump and much less curvy, so I switched out the tags.

Actually, that's a pretty meh explanation.
To me, it doesn'T seem that she was fat/plump in any way, but more "exaggerated" and therefore curvy.
I feel like this two tags have a very thin (:3) seperation line and think they should be made more clear.

Curvy == big breasts, tiny waist, and a huge butt, but they need to be properly proportioned and streamlined. It can't get clearer than that, since what makes curves pleasing is mostly hard-wiring built into humans and can't really be expressed in words.

If its something you don't understand, then its something you shouldn't tag. There a bunch of tags involving art composition that I don't tag because I don't get them, but I don't begrudge those that do from tagging them.
Is anyone willing to clear up whatever makes humanoid robot different from android? I'd like to clean up the former tag as many of its posts (post #2250641, post #2492452, post #2596550, post #2659083, post #2663447) are indistinguishable from ordinary androids, but it would help to have some agreement about what makes this tag a distinct concept.
Relatedly, is there any value to maintaining copyright-specific android tags like omnic and replicant?

To myself, the following is how I would liken that relationship.
androids are to humanoid robots as humans are to humanoids

Not unless there's a reason why COPYRIGHT + android can't be used to find those pictures.

Mutually exclusive for the same item. If we want an umbrella tag, then I'd use backless.

Extrapolating from the android wiki, a humanoid robot would be a human shaped and human sized robot that is not made to look very human. Zinjata would be a humanoid robot given his(their?) lack of a human like face. Small sized transformers would also be humanoid robots, assuming they have a humanoid form. I would not object to any of the posts you mentioned being moved to android. Although post #2250641 doesnt seem to have anything distinguishing it as a robot at all.
Could we merge the tags? Probably. There are only a few posts like post #1803343 which does not fit under a broad definition of android or mecha.
We do have tags for desepticon and maximal so omnic does seem logical to keep.
