Mass Removal From Pool

User Ka-ri-Su-Ma mass-removed a lot of legit posts from the pool Beautiful Smile.

Also involving the removal of approved post (post #2666410) from the pool but instead adding the unapproved one (post #1946911). Please refer to pool history dated 2017-04-16 23:15 for more details.

Let's call the one responsible first and ask why he did that. @Ka-ri-Su-Ma

Their last favorite is also three days old. So I wouldn't shoot them down for now.

Skimming through some of the removals at random, I don't entirely disagree with many of them. Subjective pools tend to accumulate cruft over time. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for someone to go back and do some gardening.

instead, i'm adding them. i don't know, i may have clicked wrong.

When you added six new posts to the pool today, you also somehow removed over a hundred existing posts from the pool: https://danbooru.donmai.us/pool_versions?page=1&search%5Bpool_id%5D=3032

This is why I always recommend using the pool:[number] meta tag for adding or removing posts from pools: it's a lot harder to mess up.

I reverted it only because 100 posts at once is hard to say that they were vetted and the post indicates it was unintentional. Feel free to readd the 5 posts if someone wants.

The 5 posts were you removed the pool from are all either sample images or a child version of a superior parent post.

Added them back to the pool.

Just did some searching, and I found another pool with a lot of deletions at once.

I have my script to look for any removal counts greater than 50. I'll report on anymore that I find here.

Just a note to people - please don't just blindly revert these changes. Sometimes the changes are genuine - and that pool in particular is one that gets a lot of incorrect additions.

So is there some kind of bug that needs to be addressed that's causing accidental mass removals when people try to add posts, since it seems that all these removals were combined with additions?

I went through them, but there are some borderline ones that I left removed which could plausibly be readded (and one I accidentally readded that I shouldn't have - will fix now). A significant majority don't belong in the pool, though, so I'm pretty sure that those removals were all done deliberately.
