Artist alias request thread

Not a alias request, but can someone with appropriate privileges mark artist #67877 as inactive/deleted.

It's an old name of artist #67945. There were only 3 posts under the former tag, so I moved them manually.

Some artists names I'm posting here just so I remember to fix them later manually once this too many requests thing is fixed.

Sohin is the way the artist intended to have so品 read (it's in all his usernames as such). Kinokomushi is cedama's actual artist name.

Orange Maru is the name of the circle, apparently composed of Yang-do and Maguro Mayonnaise.

I've tagged the posts appropriately as best as I could, so we can proceed with the alias, provided nobody finds any issues double-checking.

In normal conditions I'd manually change the posts however because of the age (6 years) of the original tag I think an alias is needed.

You think so? If the antecedent tag is not oft searched then it's probably better to just make it an update and add it as an "other name". IMO having an alias is more trouble than worth it for lesser known artists, especially since it just takes up extra load on the server without serving any real point.

It's just 2 posts, after all. I doubt anyone will have that saved in their saved searches, bookmarks or what not. Again, we do have an other names field.

Just an idea. I prefer actual name over pen name, and artist doesn't really seem intent on keeping their identities separate: フェスタ(蕨野まつり)

Actual pen name (reading is provided from here). Alias is there for posterity, I'll be moving them over manually.

katagi_ren (older artist) is katagiri_(a1466502).
katagi ren has pixiv posts but no account in the artist entry. Saucenao on post #486055 (bad pixiv id) points to katagiri's account.
As for the name to keep, maybe katagiri_(katagi_ren)?

Artist actual name is preferred. Not sure if an alias is even necessary here. If it is however, both tags can be aliased to geoffrey_chan.

It should really be one word. Assumably the tag was created using the artist's pixiv/twitter handle, but this doesn't feel quite accurate to the reading of their name on many other websites (EH and the like).
