toenail polish is a separate tag (and I suppose it should also imply toenails).

The nail polish tag can be used for the product itself, not just the results of applying it. It frequently gets used alongside toenail polish as well, whether fingernails are visible in the image or not. Nothing in the wiki definition precludes this usage.

nail polish bottle is also a separate tag...

...though I was wondering about this. In this case, what about a fingernail polish tag? Both it and toenail polish would imply nail polish, and also their respective kinds of nails.
...maybe this is a lot of trouble for an often-overlooked detail, but it's one that I pay attention to quite a bit, and a nail_polish -fingernails search returns the majority of the posts that nail_polish does.
I'd like to have this subset of tags looked at again. Just a brainspew list following. Whether anyone else actually cares is also in question.

- toenails has 1,000 fewer posts than toenail_polish. Should probably be implicated.
- nail_polish is "Lacquer that is applied to the nails of either the fingers or the toes" but we have a toenail_polish tag. I'd really rather see them either...
- both combined into the one nail_polish tag
- split into finger- and toe- varieties (send care packages for my eyes and left mouse button if this gets done)
- If so, should implicate fingernail_polish -> fingernails
- with or without nail_polish continuing to exist which instead refers to having one or both present; done via implication
Could we move forward with implementing one of these options? I've been going through my *nails* related posts and the fact that toenail_polish exists but fingernail_polish doesn't has been grinding at my gears. Either both should exist or neither.
