What about posts that only reference the Asahi brand without showing the product itself? Budweiser is beer too, but post #482583 isn't (and shouldn't be) tagged beer.
I keep being surprised by everything with these tags... I should make it an exception to look through more of the tag before I assume something about it.
Then perhaps, if in the cases that asahi (beer) is tagged but there is no beer, then why don't we rename the tag asahi (brand) or just asahi? I think such a tag name would more accurately reflect what's there in the images listed.
EDIT: One other thing is that Asahi comes in both a can and a bottle, so I don't think it can just implicate beer can.
EDIT 2: And then it seems that there already exists an asahi artist with exactly one entry attributed to him, hmm.
Updated
"Asahi" by itself is very ambiguous. There are even other companies named "Asahi", for instance the TV network. Perhaps asahi_(beer) should be aliased to the company's full name, Asahi Breweries.
Ah, right, I forgot about that. Aliasing it to Asahi Breweries is probably a much better option then. Should I or someone else submit a request for that then? That way we can clear up the potential misunderstanding that asahi (beer) suggests, that there is beer since it's in the tag name.

Done:
create alias asahi_(beer) -> asahi_breweries
Wait, I thought the policy was a brand is only a copyright if it has characters associated with it? topic #8160, topic #2075.
EDIT: +1 to asahi breweries in any case. Also I went through asahi_(beer) -beer and tagged everything as beer / beer can / beer bottle as appropriate. The only non-beer posts I saw were post #2247451 and post #898247 (empty beer can used as an ashtray).
