finding reply to own comment

Is there a way to find a recent reply to one's own comments, like seeing new PMs or what forum posts are new, or not?

You can use the comment search page to search for comments by their body, the user who created them, and/or the tags on the post the comment belongs to. (Note that metatags do not work for comment searches.)

That sounds like I could search for my own comments but would have to look through all previous pages to probably not even find a new reply to one comment. Do I get that right, or is there a way telling a user that someone replied after he/she posted a comment?

Comments specifically refer to the ones made on posts; if you look on your user page and click on the right number (# of posts), the search will show you all posts that you have commented on, in order of most recently commented upon.

Does that also include ones that did not bump, or also the ones that have not been bumped during posting as recent posted ones?

The "No bump" option only affects the Comments listing page, the search that I mentioned before takes into account all comments, including "no bump" comments and even deleted comments.

This is right, currently there's no notification if someone replies to your comments. You do get a notification if someone mentions your username with an @ in front of it, though.

Put this on your search box (without quote) "commenter:Rxxx order:comment"
