Alias should be done to include sniffing of male underwear, and that is consistent with the alias to underwear_theft. The implication is consistent with the one from clothes_sniffing.

Had originally thought to imply underwear, but this should not be done as there are images where a character is under another's skirt and the underwear can't be seen. But does the tag really apply in such cases (post #881857)?

Well, I guess that is up to the tagger then. Unless there is a clear indication when a character is smelling. But in most cases, there won't be any motion lines that would indicate the smelling. So I'd go with yes and no here. I probably wouldn't tag it in that case.
