[bulk] redundant "saluting" tag

-1 Unless I'm missing something, there are currently only nine posts tagged with saluting. It'd be easier to just use the tag script function and change them manually...

Well, I guess there is no distincion between those to.
But shouldn't this be the other way round. As I recall, every action in a picture is described in the -ing form.
Sitting, standing, walking, diving, climbing, throwing. Since this is also an action, I'd be for an alias from salute to saluting...Well, of course this could also be used as the noun^^.

Hadn't thought of that but you're right... I wonder how many other noun tags there are that should be progressive verbs (i.e. -ing ending) instead?

Normally I would have just done the tag script, but I first was going to suggest an alias so then I ended up here when I decided that wasn't worth it. But now that we're here, Provence brings up a good point. "Saluting" might be a better name for the tag, but it's a little tricky because the specific salute tags that implicate "salute" wouldn't really work well as "saluting" (e.g. "vulcan saluting"??).

Either way, it probably is worth having an alias in one direction or the other.

I think in this case keeping it as salute would sound better, and doesn't lead to the more awkward sounding straight-arm_saluting, two-finger_saluting, and vulcan_saluting tags.
