Fate series: Ruler tag discussion

As we know, Ruler exists on two different media: Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Apocrypha. However, they are still the same person. Why divide a same character into two tags solely based from their franchise? Why don't we merge it into a single character tag?

I'm asking this because it's hassle to tag two character tags into a single character image. At first I want to make an implication, but decided not to do so.

Feels like with Fate/Grand Order being a thing the decision to use the class of a servant as a tag only brings more and more trouble with it.

We now have images of Tamamo no Mae tagged as Caster from Fate/Extra, despite the image being of her as a Lancer, from Grand Order.

As for the Ruler thing, well, shouldn't saint martha in beachwear be tagged as ruler (fate/grand order) now? She's the only Ruler that originates from FGO after all. Not to mention kotomine shirou. Most of the F/GO servants are tagged with their true name anyway.

That I can agree.

Actually, the more I look at the tagging conventions for fate characters the more inconsistencies, redundancies and oddities I find. I should stop before I get angry.

Or you point them out :3. Then everybody will gain something^^.

I'm afraid it'd take hours of retagging and explaining what's wrong... It'd have to be a pretty large effort. I'd still honestly advocate for calling characters by their actual names and maybe aliasing their titles. The franchise has gotten so large and there are so many characters called "assassin" or "archer" or whatever that it's so, so confusing to search for a character.
