I personally like to use information wherever it is found. When kana are provided I think it brings us closer to their name and surname which to me seems to be the ideal name considered for the artist tag name.
However in this case てら子 seems to be derived from the 5TB/5 terabyte name. Looking at the current wiki information 5 terabyte seems to be a rendering of Go-Terabyte and I would go with that name or leave as is.
For some reason pepekekeko has way more posts than pekeko_(pepekekeko), despite the former not having a wiki page. Did something happen? I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that last time I checked the author's page. Also I'm not sure whether I should have requested an alias here or not.

I have previously requested that this change NOT be made. I do not go by my real name online. No one is going to recognize that name. There is no practical reason for this.
I know there is a "policy" to use real names but when such a "policy" results in confusion at best and an invasion of privacy at worst, perhaps it needs some rethinking.
I think yumibakama meme and m yumi fuwawa are the same artist and should be fused together.

We don't actually have a real name policy. Last discussion on this issue was topic #8245, and it was inconclusive and all over the place.
I'm sticking with the pen name for the reasons you've stated.
