Deleted artist pages

Posted under General

I am saddened to see that artist #14617 would like their work not to be in this repository. I wanted to make sure that there Twitter and other posting locations are up to date in order that so on one inadvertently posted there work, however their artist page has no content and I cannot edit it.

I think artist pages are of great importance and extremely useful even if their content is removed. Why are these pages removed in addition to content?

Their twitter name is J_KMOR, I have not found other locations besides their website.

Actually you can still see the artist's URL, try using the bookmarklet on one of their works, and all the artist's links will appear under the upload page.

It seems that there are no way to edit a banned entry though, but I'd assume that the artist has already given all their links when asking their works to be banned.

This is a good point, however their pixiv appears deleted so I cannot do this. Using the bookmarklet from Twitter does not detect any artist hence why I wanted to edit their artist page to include it.

I assume this as well, however accounts created after the deletion request will not be detected.

Edit: Their pixiv is apparently still up, just many images taken down. If you try to upload one, you just get the artist name and banned artist for artist detection, no list of URLs as with a non-banned artist.

Updated

I just checked again, it seems that the artist's Twitter account you mentioned wasn't added to the entry. That's why using the bookmarklet from Twitter didn't work. This link should be added to the entry asap.

Works fine for me. Or you can just use ghostrigger's method instead.

This is my entire point. Not only that, but there is no reason we should not be able to view and edit the artist page. It's the content which must be banned, not URLs.

Leads directly to this situation where a banned artist has an active account which could be posted from and users cannot add it to his artist page.

And for some reason your link shows the URLs for me.
