I have slight issue with the tapir_tail tag. Right now the tag is no different than a Doremy_Sweet Tail search, as Doremy Sweet makes up the entirety of the depictions (tapier_tail -Doremy_sweet brings up 0 results).
The tag would be a lot more valuable if there were other characters having that type of tail.

While I see where you're coming from, if the tag didn't exist, Doremy's tail would get mis-tagged as a cow tail all the freakin time. Same with her animal ears. I know this because it was mis-tagged all the time before the tapir tail tag existed, and I was the one who cleaned that up when I requested the implication.
A similar thing happens with Kasodani Kyouko's animal features being tagged as dog features, although I'm partial to that, and I sometimes participate in that because Kyouko is treated as a dog by the fandom, and the Yamabiko isn't based off of a real animal. The original Yamabiko might have even been a bird. Tapirs, on the other hand, DO exist, and some fan works depict Doremy as being self-conscious when someone mistakes her for the wrong animal.
It also isn't necessarily true that non-Doremy examples are nonexistent -- Pokemon has at least two Baku, for example -- it's just that they might have existed in the past, before Doremy made the tag explode, and they have not been tagged with it yet.
While this thread was dormant, Kemono Friends gave us a pair of tapir girls, so the discussion is pretty much moot.
