I believe the way we structure Love Live copyrights could be organized a bit better. The Love Live franchise currently comprises three main entities (on danbooru at least):
LL School Idol Project, the original series featuring the idol group "μ's" at Otonokizaka High School
LL Sunshine, a follow-on series featuring the idol group "Aqours" at Uranohoshi High School
LL School Idol Festival, a rhythm/collection game with characters from both series, as well as original characters
As it stands, Sunshine implies School Idol Project and Festival implies nothing. With the Sunshine anime airing in July, I expect the number of Sunshine posts will increase a fair amount. In the interest of making searching more robust, future-proofing and cleanliness, I propose we turn Love Live! into an overall tag for the franchise as a whole. As the majority of our current Sunshine posts don't feature any crossover with School Idol Project, I think it makes a lot of sense to give them separate tags under a franchise tag. Festival would continue to be applied as it currently is, with either series tag on posts featuring elements unique to the game, or alone when featuring a game-original character.
The steps would be: unalias Love Live! from SIP; unimply Sunshine from SIP; imply Love Live! with SIP, SIF and Sunshine. Then go through the Sunshine posts and manually remove SIP as appropriate. The movie implication can be left as is.
Before I create the request, does anyone have any thoughts or objections? Thanks!
