Source to Pixiv or artist's main page?

Posted under General

I noticed that zhen_long's posts are being uploaded with his pixiv as the source, though as the artist is Chinese, his main avenue of posting his art is on bcy, where he actually leaves commentary. I'm not sure if I should change the source links to point to his bcy uploads, or leave them be - it's possible that users may get confused as to where the artist commentary is coming from, since the source link points to his pixiv where uploads are only tagged and named with barebones Japanese.

I'd have to revise my automated edits if you start changing matching pixiv sources, or those edits would just get reverted. So with that minor annoyance (and my overall bias towards pixiv) in mind, my preference is that you leave the sources be and instead add a "note" in the commentary stating where the commentary comes from.

Sources for images should always be where the image specifically uploaded directly came from to be uploaded on Danbooru, not necessarily the first or "main" place the artist posts it to. Alternate sources that don't have higher quality images can be mentioned in comments and/or the artist's database entry.
