Let me do a straight thing.

I had a problem when chose a CPU. I wanted to make a gaming rig as I wanted by upgrading my Z77 gaming rig to X99 or Z170. Well, its hard i should said. Which CPU I should to pick? Haswell or Skylake?

Well. It's no matter which one you'd pick, but i suggest you to pick Z170 instead of X99, since in rumor Z170 can compatible with DDR3, whereas X99 not compatible with DDR3.

If I was you, i'd choose DDR4 rather using its predecessor since intel not validate about DDR3 compatibility with Skylake Mobos
