There are presently three tags to search for what is essentially the same thing, as far as one can tell from most of the pictures. Proposing to make strapless_bottom the catch-all, leave c-string for the few cases where you can clearly tell it stays on by rigidity, and use maebari for all cases of an adhesive version, whether it goes all the way back or covers only the front.

-1 for the maebari implication, as it should not be done. The strapless bottom tag is intended to refer to things that can be considered clothing (as loose at some of these things might be in being referred to as such). Maebari is not considered clothing at all, and so shouldn't be placed under the strapless bottom tag.

As for why the strapless bottom refers to adhesives for staying on as a subtype, that's because of things like post #326934, which lacks the ability to use rigidity to stay on.

According to wikipedia there is at least two types of maebari, the standard and the extended type. Standard maebari don't cover the anus (or at least aren't designed to), while the extended type does, but the extended type was designed for western consumers and sold as "strapless panties."

I'm not going say that they should be visually identified from the front, but if it sticks out the rear side it should be labelled strapless bottom and not maebari. If it only covers the genitals, it should be tagged maebari and it's not really clothing, unless you want to open up the claim that tape, stickers, and pasties are also clothing, because visually that's all a standard maebari looks like (ie a standard maebari looks like a strip of tape).
