Is there a tag for those miniature toys that students put on their school bags? For example, the bear in post #1933181. (...is that Winnie the Pooh?) We have cellphone_strap for the cellphone ones, but what about the purse/bookbag ones?

I think I wondered about this before too but never asked or tried to start a tag. As far as cellphone_strap goes, isn't cellphone_charm being used for the same thing? There are some instances of the cellphone-related tags being applied with bags, like with post #797972 and post #1758945. Maybe we can just fold them all into one generically-named tag like strap_charm.

cellphone_strap fails to describe the phenomenon of strap charms being attached to book bags or purses as decorations. cellphone_charm is another term for cellphone_strap, with the same issues.

-1 to cellphone_strap -> strap_charm. It'd be better just to migrate most of those and not conflate straps with charms.
Ah, so there is a difference. The cellphone_strap wiki had me confused.
Well I don't know how much we've actively tagged for straps, but the tag has in use become nothing more than charms (why I think most of it should be migrated). Even if we're not going to end up tagging for straps (though there are likely plenty of images of the straps, but untagged), I think leaving it unaliased to charms would be the better approach.
