ERROR: canceling statement due to statement timeout

Everytime i try to search for nasu_no_yoichi i get this error message. Why?

It's a low content tag and requests from basic users get timed out soonest.

Try adding limit:5 or some other amount; even as a gold member, sometimes I have to put it as low as 2 to get it to not time out.

I've never delved into the danbooru code, but I believe it tries to build a full page of results before it returns it to you; and if your request times out before it fills up a page-worth, well, you get that result.

I'm getting this error on nearly every other tag I try and click on right now.

Getting this for a couple artist tags.

yeah it's doing for a bunch of low content tags has something been changed with the timeout duration because it hasn't been doing this until recently.

it makes browsing so much more annoying especially when trying to browse several low content tags at once

I'm getting this too, on almost every artist tag too.

Setting a limit helps for the first page, but then most of the subsequent pages get the same error.

This started pretty recently, definitely less than a week ago. Well, that was the last time I was here anyway. Pretty sure it's more recent than that.

I'm getting this error for character tags, too. Tried looking for Ichii Yui and it returns the error.

Throwing my hat in here. Also getting this error on several artist and character tags.

I've been getting this all morning for various artist tags. Also got it for argo_(sao) since I wanted to change the tag on the one picture in there to argo_the_rat lol.

Edit:Just got it for jin_roh. Wikis, pools, the forums, etc. don't seem to give me the error, but posts of all types do.

Same here, while trying to search for the pictures of Persona 5 characters.

EDIT: It seems random...

No, it seems to be tags with more images than that. Tags like Purple_Heart (234 entries) are getting the error too.

Have you guys tried any of the other servers?

I usually just use http://donmai.us and I haven't been getting any of this at all.

http://sonohara.donmai.us feels slow to me

http://hijiribe.donmai.us seems okay

http://danbooru.donmai.us seems okay on my end

not sure if http://safebooru.donmai.us is actually another server, but it feels slow as well

It happens on almost every artist tag.

I to am getting this error and i have tried all three servers.

Getting this for searching for Eevee tag as well.

It seems to happen on any tag, regardless of server for me.

Edit: not all. helma_lennartz and blonde_hair seem to work. bishamon does not.

You will probably get the odd timeout on lesser searched tags for a few hours until they stabilise. But hey, the site is useable again.

I've tried reindexing the database.
